Bayern Munich are set to sign Borussia Moenchengladbach defender Dante Bonfim da Costa, according to TZ.
The Bavarians have already agreed to sign Basel playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri and they could secure another signing for the new season.
TZ claims that Bayern are not only interested in Borussia M’gladbach defender Dante, but that they are on the verge of completing a deal to take the Brazilian to Alianz Arena.
The 28-year-old has a €4.6 million release clause inserted in his contract and the Bavarians have agreed to pay that amount at the end of the season.
According to the same source, the Bundesliga giants also agreed personal terms with the player, and the transfer is expected to be announced in the coming days.
The experienced defender became an important player for die Fohlen soon after making a switch from Standard Liege, and his performances this season have been absolutely impeccable.
Dante, who is part of the defence that conceded just 12 league goals this season, started 20 Bundesliga games, while missing one match through suspension.
