According to SportBild, Bayern Munich are considering various options to strengthen their right defensive flank, and at the moment, Inter Milan Denzel Dumfries and Noussair Mazraoui of Ajax are at the top of their list. Wolfsburg’s Ridle Baku is an alternative, should neither of the first two options prove viable.
Inter signed Dumfries last summer to replace Achraf Hakimi, who made his way to Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of close to €70 million. The Nerazzurri drive a hard bargain when it comes to important players, and 25-year-old Dumfries isn’t likely to be allowed to leave cheap either, given that he’s proven himself to Simone Inzaghi and that his contract has over three years left to run.
Mazraoui, 24, is a product of the Ajax academy. Running out of contract at the end of this season, he’s obviously a much more viable option, but Barcelona have reportedly prepared a contract offer for him as well.
