Bayern Munich have already started planning their activities in the transfer market for the upcoming January window, according to sporting director Christoph Freund.
“We are in daily contact and have a lot of quality,” Freund said.
“We’re discussing January and where we can still improve and we will find right solutions.”
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano says the Bundesliga champions are considering potential options in the defensive midfield department, as well as candidates for a centre-back addition.
During the summer, Bayern parted ways with defender Benjamin Pavard, who joined Inter Milan, and midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, who now plays for Liverpool. Among the proposed targets they were reportedly after was versatile Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, as well as Fulham defensive midfielder Joao Palhinha.
Meanwhile, Bayern signed striker Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, agreeing to pay €100 million for the services of the England captain, and Kane has already started proving a good investment – he has eight goals and four assists in just seven matches he’s played for the Bavarians in all competitions so far.
