Bayern Munich have expressed a rock-hard stance that Robert Lewandowski will not be leaving the club this summer, according to the Telegraph.
Since his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2014 Lewandowski has enjoyed plenty of domestic success, winning the Bundesliga every season he has spent with Bayern. However, European success continues to elude him and that might be one of the reasons he would want to change his surroundings, as well as to seek a new challenge in a different league.
He has continuously been linked with a move to Real Madrid, occasionally with Paris Saint-Germain, and lately with Chelsea too. In fact, the Telegraph report claims every big club in Europe except Barcelona would relish a chance to sign Lewandowski.
Pini Zahavi, the striker’s agent, said Lewandowski needs a change, and also that Bayern are aware of that. But the Bavarian club have no intention of letting their top marksman go at this point.
