AS have reported that Bayern Munich plan to spend big this summer, a figure that could surpass the €250 million mark. With the Bavarian club closely involved with Real Madrid over the future of James Rodriguez, who is on loan at the Allianz Arena from Real, and now the Spanish outlet also report that a deal could be close for Gareth Bale to move to Bayern.
The Welshman did not have a good relationship with Zinedine Zidane during his first stint as head coach at Real, and now that the Frenchman is back, speculations surrounding the future of Bale went through the roof. He has been linked with Premier League return, both to his old club Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, but it could be that he ends up in Munich with the departures of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben imminent.
Bayern are apparently one of few clubs in Europe who could afford Bale’s wages, they are in need of a player of those traits, and the 29-year-old winger is open to the idea.
