Bayern in talks with Nicolas Pepe

Bayern Munich are preparing for the much needed rebuild. The German giants are still in a tight title race in Bundesliga, as they are putting more and more pressure on Borussia Dortmund, but their plans of making their squad younger for next season seems to be going on already.

According to Le10 Sport, Bayern are in strong position to finalize the deal for LOSC Lille’s Nicolas Pepe. The two clubs and player’s representatives had their talks recently and negotiations seem to be going in the right direction. Bayern are in desperate need of younger wingers who will have the potential to build the team around and Pepe fits that bill.

He is 23, plays on the right wing and has 16 goals and eight assists in Ligue 1 this season in 27 appearances, proving his completely ready for a step up in his career. Bayern Munich seem to be favourites for his signature, although many other clubs are also interested.
