hot-transfer-newsBayern inquire about Thomas Lemar

European powerhouses Bayern Munich are showing interest in Monaco youngster Thomas Lemar, L’Equipe can reveal.

The Bavarians have been impressed with the midfielder’s performances since arriving at Stade Louis II and they seem prepared to try and lure him to Allianz Arena at the earliest opportunity.

According to L’Equipe, Bayern have contacted Monaco to ask about the possibility of signing Lemar in the January window.

And while the Principality club are not too keen on selling the 20-year-old footballer mere six months after he joined from Caen, they are not in a position to reject a big money offer.

Thomas Lemar was one of a plethora of talented youngsters to join Monaco last summer and he impressed to score 3 goals in 11 Ligue 1 appearances.

The Stade Louis II outfit have climbed to second in the league standings and are 8/15 favourites to clinch a top 3 finish.

Saivet linked with Premiership move

French media outlet L’Equipe understands that several Premier League sides are keeping close tabs on Bordeaux midfielder Henri Saivet.

The 25-year-old, who had started his career as a forward, has flourished in a central midfield role this season, starting 17 league fixtures and scoring 2 goals.

And it appears that his excellent showings did not go unnoticed with Premier League clubs showing interest in his services.

According to L’Equipe, several bottom-table sides, including Newcastle, are keen on the talented footballer, who has another year and a half left on his current deal.

Southampton are reportedly hot on his trail as well, but the Saints are unlikely to make their move before the season comes to an end.

Henri Saivet is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects to have come out of Bordeaux’s youth academy in recent years and he has so far made 139 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 17 goals.

Monaco join race for Kevin Mirallas

Daily Mail has learned that Monaco could make a move on Everton forward Kevin Mirallas in the January window.

The Belgian, who had been one of key members of the squad not so long ago, has struggled for playing time this season, starting mere two Premier League fixtures.

And with the Euro 2016 on the horizon, Mirallas is reportedly looking to leave the Toffees in search of first team football.

According to Daily Mail, Monaco could offer the 28-year-old an escape route from Merseyside as they plan to reinforce the attacking department.

Mirallas already has plenty of Ligue 1 experience, having represented both Lille and Saint Etienne before moving to Olympiakos in 2010.

Two years later he went on to join Everton and has so far scored 24 goals in 98 Premier League outings for the Toffees.
