Bayern Munich are hot on the trail of Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi, the player’s agent has moved to confirm.
The Germany hotshot has already caught the eye of clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid, with recent reports suggesting the Bavarians are keen as well.
Mustafi’s official representative Ali Bulut has revealed that Bayern have indeed been following his client’s performances on regular basis.
“Bayern have watched him in almost all the games this season. It is normal that they are looking at him because he plays really well,” Bulut told Gestiona Radio Valencia.
However, it would appear as though Mustafi is not currently looking for a change of scenery, meaning that his suitors will probably need to wait some more before making their interest concrete.
The 23-year-old already has plenty of experience at club and international level having spent his early career at Everton before making a name for himself at Sampdoria.
A total of 51 Serie A appearances proved enough for Mustafi to be noticed by Valencia scouts and he quickly justified the €8 million transfer fee. Meanwhile, the centre back has made eight appearances for Germany and helped die Mannschaft lift the 2014 World Cup trophy.
