Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are the latest top side to have shown interest in Sampdoria defender Milan Skriniar, Il Secolo XIX can reveal.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed a bright start to his career at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, and he needed just a dozen or so games in Italy’s top flight to catch the eye of top clubs in Europe.
According to Il Secolo XIX, Bayern Munich scouts watched the talented footballer in action as Sampdoria suffered a 2-1 defeat to Lazio at the weekend, and the Bavarians will continue to closely monitor the youngster’s performances.
Bundesliga clubs appear to especially appreciate Skriniar’s qualities considering that Borussia Dortmund, Schalke and Eintracht Frankfurt are keen as well.
The Slovakia international joined Sampdoria from Zilina in January 2016 and went on to make 17 Serie A appearances for the Blucerchiati.
Skriniar has also played his way into the Slovakia national team, starting two 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
