German champions Bayern Munich are showing interest in Hoffenheim forward Roberto Firmino, according to Sport Bild.
The Bavarians coach Pep Guardiola has a number of quality attackers at his disposal, but with Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery not getting any younger, the boss plans to add some fresh blood to the front line.
Sport Bild has learned that Hoffenheim hotshot Roberto Firmino is one of the first names on club’s hit-list.
The 23-year-old has become one of world’s most sought-after footballers and his current employers already rejected a €25 million offer for his services.
But, with a €20 million release clause set to be activated in the summer, chances are that the Brazilian will finally leave Hoffenheim for greener pastures.
Firmino, who has managed 46 goals and 33 assists in 142 competitive appearances for TSG Hoffenheim, has welcomed interest from Europe’s top clubs, meaning he is ready to leave at the end of the season.
