Bayern Munich are the latest high-profile side to have been linked with a summer move for Hamburg attacker Hakan Calhanoglu, reports Bild.
The Bavarians sporting director Matthias Sammer spotted the player’s talent while he was at Karlsruher and he has since closely monitored his progress.
According to Bild, Sammer will attempt to lure the talented footballer to Alianz Arena in the summer transfer window.
That will be no easy task given that Hamburg are not looking to sell, while a host of top European clubs are showing interest as well.
Calhanoglu, who scored 11 goals in 31 league matches this season, signed a new deal with HSV in February, but it is believed he will consider his options if the club get relegated to the second division.
Hamburg face Mainz away on the final day of regular season and the Red Shorts have been priced at 11/4 to claim maximum points.
