German champions Bayern Muncih are keeping close tabs on Juventus stopper Leonardo Bonucci, Tuttosport can reveal.
The Bavarians currently have a number of high-quality central defenders in their ranks, having signed Mehdi Benatia from Roma in the summer, but they are always looking for ways to reinforce their ranks.
According to Tuttosport, Bayern Munich are considering a move for Juventus hotshot Leonardo Bonucci.
The Bavarians coach Pep Guardiola was impressed with the Italy international when he watched the derby game between Juventus and Roma, while club chiefs also believe that Bonucci would be an excellent addition to the squad at Alianz Arena.
The 27-year-old has largely impressed playing at the heart of a three-man defence in Turin, not only taking care of defensive duties to perfection but also acting as an extra midfielder during the attacking phase.
Bonucci did, however, recently suggest that he was perfectly happy at Juventus, but he might be tempted by the switch to Bayern in the future.
