Le Parisien understands that Bayern Munich are considering a summer bid for Real Madrid hotshot Raphael Varane.
The Bavarians are short of options in the heart of defence and they are in the market for a high-profile central defender.
And while Borussia Dortmund star Mats Hummels is being heavily linked with a move to Allianz Arena, Le Parisien claims that new coach Carlo Ancelotti hopes to get reunited with Raphael Varane.
The youngster has been disappointed by the lack of playing time at Santiago Bernabeu and he would be interested in a move to Bayern.
But, even tough the Bavarians plan to start the bidding at €40 million, Real may not be ready to listen to offers for the player they believe can develop into a key member of the side in years to come.
