Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zietung is reporting that Bayern Munich are keeping close tabs on Wolfsburg full-back Ricardo Rodriguez.
The 22-year-old has become one of Europe’s hottest commodities following some impressive displays for club and country and he is heavily linked with a move away from Volkswagen Arena.
According to Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zietung, Bayern Munich are the latest high-profile side to have joined the race for his signature, with coach Pep Guardiola reportedly impressed by the Swiss defender.
Rodriguez has confirmed to Blick that it is nice to hear about the interest from the Bavarians, but also suggested that his agents are in charge of his career.
Meanwhile, Wolfsburg officials are desperate to tie down their star player to a new long-term deal given that he has less than two years left on his current contract.
Ricardo Rodriguez remains one of the most prolific defenders in world football, having scored 8 goals in last 40 Bundesliga appearances for the Wolves.
