Serie A fallen giants AC Milan have commenced their life under new owners with a huge bang in the transfer market this summer.
The Rossoneri have so far brought no less than ten high-profile players but it appears they have no intention of slowing down.
The Italian heavyweights want to create a competitive side that will challenge Juventus for major honours next year and in order to do that, they want to add more quality players to their ranks.
Rossoneri are keen to add a couple of more attack-oriented options to their team and have listed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alvaro Morata as potential targets. However, they seem to be actively working on Bayern Munich flop Renato Sanches as well, and it appears that the Portuguese pearl could be on his way to Italy this week.
Speaking to German media ahead of Bayern Munich’s trip to Asia, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed AC Milan’s interest in former Benfica starlet but added the two sides are still far away from reaching a deal.
AC Milan are keen to bring Sanches on a two-year loan deal with an option to buy whereas Bayern Munich are looking to offload the Portuguese on permanent basis.
