Bayern Munich are interested in signing Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez in the summer of 2021, according to El Gol Digital. The 29-year-old, who can also operate as a right-back, is out of contract at defending Spanish champions Madrid, and German powerhouse Bayern reportedly want to secure his services on a free transfer.
Vazquez has been on the books of Madrid his entire professional club football career so far and has won the La Liga title twice and the Champions League on three occasions. The 29-year-old has made 19 starts and three substitute appearances in La Liga for Zinedine Zidane’s side so far this season, scoring two goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored. The Spain international has also provided two assists in seven Champions League games for Los Blancos so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
Madrid are third in the La Liga table at the moment with 60 points from 28 matches, six points behind leaders and city rivals Atletico Madrid. Meanwhile, Bayern currently find themselves at the top of the Bundesliga table with 61 points from 26 games, four points above second-placed RB Leipzig.
