Bayern Munich are lining up a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld, according to the Mirror.
The Bundesliga champions are on the lookout for a potential replacement for Jerome Boateng who, after being linked with a move to Manchester United has now emerged as a target for Paris Saint Germain.
Boateng has already agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 giants, leaving Bayern two weeks to bring in a new face.
Alderweireld made just fourteen league appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side last term while he also barely featured in the cup competitions and in Europe.
In total, he has racked up one hundred and fifteen appearances in all competitions since signing from Atletico Madrid in the summer on 2014, scoring six goals.
Internationally, he has been capped a total of eighty-three times for Belgium with the last of those appearances as his side beat England in the third-place play-off victory over England at the World Cup finals last month.
