Bundesliga title holders Bayern Munich are looking to make defensive reinforcements during winter and have already set their sights on Lukas Klostermann, according to reports from Sport Mediaset.
Niko Kovac is left short of options at the back this season following Juan Bernat’s summer transfer to Paris Saint-Germain and Rafinha’s ankle ligament damage sustained against Bayer Leverkusen and the Bavarians are widely expected to bring a defender in January.
Highly-rated Germany international defender who is best deployed as full-back has caught the attention of Bayern Munich and could be on his way to Allianz Arena in a couple of months’ time.
The 22-year-old has already been linked with a move away from RB Leipzig this summer when AS Roma expressed clear interest in his services but ended up remaining in Germany.
His contract with RB Leipzig expires at the end of June 2021 and Red Bulls are not in a rush to sell. Interest from the Bundesliga champions could prove to be too huge of the temptation, however.
