French daily newspaper L’Equipe claims that Bayern Munich are keeping close tabs on Lyon youngster Willem Geubbels.
The 16-year-old yesterday became the first ever player born in the 21st century to feature in a Ligue 1 game, coming on as a late substitute in the 3-3 draw with Dijon.
In spite of his fragile age, the left winger has already caught the eye of Bayern Munich, who attempted to secure his signature in the summer.
However, Lyon rejected an offer in the region of €8m to €9m and instead offered the youngster a professional contract.
Geubbels has yet to sign a new deal with les Gones and it remains to be seen whether Bayern will make a fresh assault on January.
Lyon take on in-form Atalanta in the second round of fixture in Europa League on Thursday and les Gones are 17/20 to claim maximum points.
