Bayern Munich go after Hazard

According to Kicker, Bayern Munich are stepping up their chase for Thorgan Hazard. The Borussia Monchengladbach star has been playing well for the German side in Bundesliga this season, and as such, he’s been attracting attention from around Europe.

Bayern are believed to view him as a replacement for the outgoing Ribery and Robben, both of whom are all but set to leave the club. Monchengladbach have different ideas, however, and want to extend Thorgan’s contract which is currently set to expire in 2020.

Bayern have had a tricky start to the campaign thus far, with Borussia Dortmund taking over as the leaders of Bundesliga. While this may always be temporary and while Bayern could easily return to the top of the table prior to the end of the season, they won’t want to take their chances.

One of the other sides that are believed to be interested in Thorgan is Liverpool.
