The 21-year-old Germany international winger Serge Gnabry has widely impressed for Werder Bremen since his arrival from Arsenal at the beginning of the current season, but the youngster has also caused great attention with his future being intensely debated.
Prior to his Werder Bremen move, former Arsenal winger was heavily linked with Bayer Munich as well and the German media outlet Kicker today reports that the Bavarian giants have a first-buy option on the 21-year-old.
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich got involved in Gnabry’s move to Werder, buy making sure they put dibs on the prospect, who got capped by the German national team twice since 2016.
Gnabry’s move to Werder Bremen proved to be the right choice for the youngster, who is the club’s top scorer with ten goals to his name. The winger has also made five assists this season in the Bundesliga, and it remains to be seen if Bayern would go on to exercise their buy-out option on the Werder man in the summer.
