Bayern Munich in Upamecano talks

According to a recent report from Marca, Bayern Munich are in advanced talks over the signing of RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.

The centre-back has been at the heart of great speculation in recent months over his future, and rightly so when you consider what a commodity he is in the context of world football. Every major club in Europe has been interested in him at one point or another and that’s not an exaggeration, with Bayern being the ones who have now, somewhat surprisingly, jumped to the front of the queue.

Upamecano himself may favour the idea of staying in the Bundesliga but beyond that, it does feel like this is a saga that isn’t going to end this month. He’s still got a lot left to give Leipzig and we think that’s going to wind up taking him through to the summer before he makes an official decision regarding where he goes next.
