Bayern Munich interested in Mount

According to a recent report from The Times, Bayern Munich are interested in making a move to sign Chelsea star Mason Mount.

Over the course of the last few months, there’s been growing speculation over the future of Mason Mount. The England international hasn’t been getting a whole lot of joy at Stamford Bridge and, given that he’s 24 years old, will likely want to look elsewhere if he wants consistent first team football.

There’s no guarantee of that, of course, but playing time can be crucial at this point in his career and development.

It also helps the rumour that Thomas Tuchel is the new man in charge of the German giants. The two spent time together at Chelsea and, by default, he’ll be well aware of both his pros and cons.

The summer transfer window is still a fair distance away. Alas, it can’t hurt to start looking ahead.
