Portuguese international Gelson Martins is attracting plenty of interest around the European continent and could be on the move this summer, according to reports from Portugal.
The talented Sporting CP starlet broke into the first team in 2015 and wasted no time in establishing himself as a key creative force for Jorge Jesus’ side.
The 23-year-old forward made 30 Primeira Liga appearances this season. He bagged 8 goals in the process and widely impressed with his flamboyance and versatility.
Primarily used on the right side of Sporting’s 4-2-3-1 system, the Portuguese international has a license to roam and will use his technical ability and creativity to supply ammunition for the forward line.
According to reports in Ojogo, Martins has already caught the eye of Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham but Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have also been added in the mix.
The Bavarians are looking for long-term replacements for ageing stars Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, and could make a move for the highly-rated forward at the end of the season.
