Colombian international James Rodriguez has been widely impressive during his loan spell at Bayern Munich thus far.
The Real Madrid outcast did not enjoy the best of starts to his German adventure but is now living up to the expectations under Jupp Heynckes. He made 28 appearances in all competitions for Bundesliga behemoths, scoring five goals and producing 10 assists – four of which came over the past two games.
The 26-year-old midfielder has apparently already done more than enough to convince Bayern Munixh bosses to activate a purchase option in his loan deal with Real Madrid.
Bavarians forked out €13 million last summer to bring the Colombian on a two-year loan but they made sure to insert a €42 million purchase option which now looks set to be activated at the end of the season, claims Spanish Marca.
Real Madrid have already been informed about Bayern’s decision and they are said to have given their nod for the deal to go through.
