Bayern Munich keeping tabs on Martin Montoya

Bayern Munich are pondering a bid for Barcelona hotshot Martin Montoya, according to Catalan daily Sport.

The Bavarians have been alerted of the player’s potential last season and they are still interested in the 20-year-old.

While being part of Barcelona B, Montoya has already featured for the senior side and even received a Spain call-up for matches against Chile and Liechtenstein.

The full-back is currently considered to be one of the hottest prospects in Barcelona youth set up and it is highly unlikely that the Catalans would be wiling to let him leave the club.

However, taking into account fierce competition for places at Camp Nou, the player could decide to move elsewhere in search for first team football.
