Italian media outlet SportItalia is claiming that Bayern Munich are interested in signing the Eintracht Frankfurt winger Ante Rebic this summer.
Rebic’s agent Fali Ramadani is even said to have cut his holiday short in order to fly to Munich this week. The Bavarians are hoping to negotiate a deal around €40 million for the Croatian international who caught plenty of eyes with his impressing showing during the World Cup in Russia.
Having helped Croatia reach the final of the tournament and achieve historic success for this Balkan nation, Ante Rebic has emerged as a transfer target for plenty of Europe’s top sides.
The likes of Fiorentina but also Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United are also said to be keen on the prospect of signing the highly-rated winger.
This is exactly why Bayern Munich decided to make an aggressive move in the market and pounce for Rebic hoping that a chance of reunion with former Eintracht Frankfurt boss Niko Kovac could play a part in persuading him to move to Allianz Arena.
