The Bavarians have been hot on the trail of the talented defender for quite some time, and they have now decided to make their interest concrete.
Namely, Bayern Munich chiefs were stunned by Philipp Lahm’s decision to retire at the end of the season, but they are wasting no time in searching for his replacement.
The Bavarians believe that Semedo would be a very good long-term successor to the club icon and they are now drafting an official proposal for his services.
The 23-year-old has been in excellent form ever since he was promoted to the first team set-up at Benfica and he is also a target for Barcelona, Man Utd and few other top clubs.
