Bayern Munich are determined to sign Joao Palhinha from Fulham in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on X that talks between German giants Bayern and Premier League side Fulham are going on over a deal that could see Palhinha make the move to the Allianz Arena.
Romano has noted that Palhinha wants to move to Bayern. The Portugal international defensive midfielder has already agreed personal terms with the Bundesliga club, who wanted to sign him last summer but a potential move collapsed on the final day of the window.
The reporter has written on X: “Negotiations between Bayern and Fulham for João Palhinha are ongoing, advancing despite initial gap in valuation.
Palhinha hopes for Fulham to let him join Bayern after personal terms agreed + being committed & professional despite Deadline Day move collapsed last summer.”
Palhinha has scored seven goals and given one assist in 68 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
