According to a recent report from Sport Bild, German giants Bayern Munich have agreed on a deal to sign Jann-Fiete Arp from Hamburg. The fee is believed to be around £2.2 million, and will see the 19 year old make the move over to Munich in either the upcoming summer or 2020. Arp has been with Hamburg since back in 2010 in their youth setup, and in that time he was able to become the first Bundesliga player that was born in the 2000s.
That achievement aside, though, there’s much more to the teenage sensation than meets the eye. He seems to have a wisdom that goes beyond his years and while he isn’t the most prolific of goalscorers, he’s got the kind of skill that would allow Bayern to nurture him and transform him into a real force to be reckoned with.
Arp first burst onto the scene internationally with the German under 17s.
