Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez is keen on a move to Premier League side Liverpool, according to the German international’s agent.
Reports have linked Liverpool with a loan move for the highly-rated striker, who has dropped down the pecking order at the Bundesliga side.
“When a club like Liverpool inquires, their interest cannot be pushed off the table,” Gomez’s agent, Uli Ferber, told Kicker.
Bayern Munich sporting director Christian Nerlinger insists the club have no plans of letting any player leave before the transfer window deadline today.
“Bayern Munich are not a superstore for other clubs to come and help themselves to players,” said Nerlinger.
“No player will be leaving and they will certainly not be leaving on loan.”
