Bayern Munich still want Sane

According to a recent report from Sport Bild, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are still of the belief that they can put together a deal that will see them sign Manchester City star Leroy Sane before the end of the summer transfer window. Sane has been heavily linked with a move away from City for quite some time now, to the point where many pundits once felt like it was just a matter of time before he made the jump over to Bayern.

Alas, there have been a few speed bumps along the way, giving supporters hope that he could be a featured member of the first team at the Etihad next season. However, that no longer appears to be the case, with City having a back up plan ready in case he does decide to sign on the dotted line with Bayern.

That back up plan would see them go after Brazilian sensation Everton, who put himself on the map in a big way during this year’s Copa America tournament.
