At the club’s Annual General Meeting, Bayern Munich supporters loudly voiced their demands for the Bundesliga champions not to be associated with Qatar Airways, or any other business owned by the Middle East state. Those representing the club were not of the same mind, and the meeting’s early end was followed by an angry outburst from most of those present, who demanded for Herbert Hainer, the chairman of the club’s supervisory board, to resign.
