Bayern Munich to trigger Kingsley Coman’s release clause

One of the brightest prospects in world football Kingsley Coman is not having the best of starts in the Bundesliga.

Widely tipped to make a move away from Bayern Munich, the French international winger will nevertheless be staying with the Bavarian giants, who are willing to activate his release clause and make his loan from Juventus a permanent deal.

Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti has told Bild that Kingsley Coman will be staying at Bayern as the Bundesliga champions are counting on the youngster to become a future star at the Allianz Arena.

Having initially arrived on a two-year loan deal pushed by former manager Pep Guardiola, Kingsley Coman has a €21 million release clause Carlo Ancelotti intends to activate in order to make Coman’s Bayern Munich stay permanent.

Coman is yet to register either a goal or an assist in the Bundesliga.

The 22-year-old’s stretch of bad luck continued during the week when he was forced to withdraw from the France national team due to an injury.

Bayern’s starlet has been replaced by Monaco man Thomas Lemar.
