Bayern Munich are interested in signing Julian Alvarez from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Bundesliga champions Bayern have voiced an interest in the Argentina international striker, but City are not willing to sell him.
City, who won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League last season, have reportedly “laughed off suggestions they could be willing to part ways” with Alvarez. The striker, who won the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina, is behind Erling Haaland in the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium.
Alvarez made 13 starts and 18 substitute appearances in the Premier League for City last season. The 23-year-old scored nine goals in those games. The striker also made four starts and six substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the Citizens last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in those games.
