Bayern Munich are interested in signing Son Heung-min from Tottenham Hotspur, according to Football Insider. It has been reported that the German and European giants are prepared to wait until the summer of 2022 to secure the services of the South Korea international.
Son has been offered a new five-year contract from Tottenham worth £200,000 a week, but talks have been on hold until the end of the season, according to the report. Given this twist, Bayern are ready to wait until next summer and then make a move to sign the 28-year-old for a relatively small transfer fee. Son’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2023.
According to WhoScored, Son has scored 13 goals and provided nine assists in 28 Premier League appearances and has scored three goals and provided one assist in seven Europa League games for Spurs so far this season.
