Bayern Munich want Wenger

According to a recent report from The Guardian, Bayern Munich’s shortlist in their search for a new manager includes the one and only Arsene Wenger. The former Arsenal boss has been without a job since leaving Arsenal last year, instead choosing to spend some time in the punditry game. Alas, whenever a big opening makes itself available in the football world, Wenger always seems to be heavily linked in one way or another.

Wenger is considered to be an old school type of coach in many ways but even with that being the case, he’s still an incredibly knowledgeable guy who is consistently able to reinvent himself – or, at least, that was the case a few years ago.

Ralf Rangnick is believed to be one of the other top targets for Bayern at this moment in time, but with Rangnick currently being employed by RB Leipzig, it feels like there are less speed bumps when it comes to potentially going after Wenger.
