According to a recent report from Kicker, Bayern Munich are not going to be taking up the option to sign James Rodriguez on a permanent basis. The Colombian sensation has been on loan with the club for the last two years, but the general belief is that he has failed to impress Niko Kovac in that time. James is currently on loan from Real Madrid who also don’t seem to be all too interested in getting him back, which could and probably should open the door for a series of other clubs to put in a bid for him. One side that has been consistently linked with James is Italian champions Juventus, who are believed to be preparing for one of their busiest ever summers as they go in search of European domination.

Rodriguez first burst onto the scene during the 2014 FIFA World Cup, but he hasn’t quite been able to recapture his form from that tournament ever since.
