Bayern Munich’s Niklas Sule open to Newcastle move

Bayern Munich central defender Niklas Sule is interested in a move to Newcastle United, according to Bild. Sule is out of contact at German and European giants Bayern at the end of the season, and Premier League club Newcastle want to secure the services of the 26-year-old centre-back on a free transfer.

Newcastle have been linked with a number players since Mike Ashley sold the club to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). Newcastle now have the wealthiest owners in world football who have lofty plans for the club.

Sule has been at Bayern since 2017, but there have been injury problems. However, the Germany international is only 26, and him joining Newcastle on a free transfer would be a massive move for the Magpies.
