Daniel Van Buyten has made it clear Bayern Munich must remain focused if they are to enjoy a successful season.
The Bavarians comfortably sit atop of the league table, while they meet Wolfsburg in the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal, and will defend a 3-1 lead in their Champions League round-of-16 tie against Arsenal next week.
Nevertheless, Van Buyten said Bayern have not won anything yet and has urged his team-mates to keep pushing in their bid for silverware.
“Everybody now expects us to win every game. That’s rather dangerous. We cannot afford to relax,” Van Buyten told Bild.
“We have to remain focused on each Bundesliga game, ideally two days before the match even takes place. Or you could all of a sudden end up playing a very difficult game.
“The games against Wolfsburg and Arsenal will be like finals for them, and they will approach those matches like that. We cannot afford to let up.”
Bayern next face Fortuna Dusseldorf in the Bundesliga.
