Bayern Munich are showing interest in Blackburn winger Junior Hoilet and the Bavarians can sign the Canadian at a cut-back price in the summer, The Sun has revealed.
Blackburn Rovers are hoping to get around £6 million for the midfielder, if he decides to join another Premier League side when his contract expires at the end of the season.
However, Bayern Munich are also interested and the Bavarians could get the Candian for as little as €810,000.
FIFA rules clearly state that a club are entitled to training costs of €90,000 per year if a player moves to another country.
Given that the 21-year-old has spent last nine years at Ewood Park, Rovers would have to settle for less than €1 million.
Blackburn chiefs are still hoping that Hoilett will sign a new contract at Ewood or at least join one of the interested clubs from England, which include Tottenham, Bolton and Newcastle.
The Canadian has been the only shining light in Steve Kean’s side this season, having scored 3 goals and set up another 4 in 20 Premier League games.
