Bayern push Man United over Thiago

According to a recent report from ESPN, Bayern Munich are pushing for Manchester United to open talks over Thiago Alcantara.

The midfielder has been at the top of the priority list for both United and another Premier League club: Liverpool. The two North West rivals have been doing everything they can to try and lure him over to England, but up to this point, both have been unsuccessful.

Bayern, as the Champions of Germany and Europe, know what their value is on the world stage – and they know what kind of value Thiago would bring to just about any club across Europe.

Thiago himself knows that the next move for him could be a career-defining one, but even with the shortened amount of time between seasons due to the pressures of the COVID-19 pandemic, none of the parties involved appear to be in any kind of rush to get a deal done.
