Bayern sack Louis van Gaal

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munchen have sacked Louis van Gaal and appointed Andries Jonker as the new boss.

Louis van Gaal was informed of the decision on Saturday evening, just few hours after Bayern failed to win their league game against Nurnberg.

Van Gaal’s assistants Frans Hoek, Jos vsn Dijk and Max Reckers have also been relieved of their duties.

Bayern board have appointed Andries Jonker as an interim manager until the end of the season.
