Bayern set to land Dutch back Van der Wiel

(GSM) – Bayern München are close to signing Ajax defender Gregory van der Wiel. Both clubs have already reached an agreement about a transfer of the Dutch starlet, according to Voetbal International.

Van der Wiel is one of the biggest Dutch talents and impressed European scouts during the World Cup. The 22-year-old right-back has also been linked with Barcelona, Manchester City and Juventus.

Therefore, Bayern decided to handle swiftly for Van der Wiel and launched a €17 million bid which was accepted by Ajax.

Now, the Bavarians will have to be patient since Van der Wiel doesn’t want to talk about his future til after the World Cup final. The promising defender can sign a three-year-deal at the Allianz Arena.
