Bayern set to make offer for Jovic

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, German side Bayern Munich are on the verge of making an official offer for Luka Jovic. The 21 year old has been on the books at Benfica since back in 2016, when he made the jump over from Red Star Belgrade. He hasn’t made all too many appearances for the Portuguese side, though, and instead, he’s made a name for himself with Eintracht Frankfurt where he’s been averaging a ‘one in two’ ratio when it comes to goals per game. Barcelona were considered to be an interested party in the last few months, but now, Bayern are aiming to swoop in and steal their thunder.

Frankfurt will almost certainly try and make a bid of their own given how well he’s done since joining in 2017, but when going up against the might of Barca and Bayern, it’ll be pretty difficult to compete with such big names.
