Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign talented midfielder Ryan Johansson, Luxembourg Wort has revealed.
The 16-year-old began his youth career at Racing FC Union and he later went on to join Metz youth academy.
Johansson was surprisingly released by the French side last summer, but he has now managed to persuade Bayern Munich coaching staff that he has a great future ahead of him.
After impressing during a trial at Allianz Arena, the youngster was offered a contract by the Bavarians and he will join the Bundesliga side next summer.
While he has so far represented Luxembourg at Under-17 level, Johansson is also eligible for Sweden and Republic of Ireland national teams and he will soon have to make a decision on his international future.
Bayern Munich are also keen on Johansson’s compatriot Vincent Thill, who has shown a great deal of promise playing for Metz youth sides, while also earning 7 Luxembourg caps.
