Bayern Munich left a good impression at their own Audi Cup on Wednesday, beating AC Milan 4-1 to reach the friendly tournament’s final.
Thomas Müller put the Bavarians in the lead after 12 minutes, although the rest of the action mostly took place in the last phase of the match.
Bastian Schweinsteiger made it 2-0 in minute 80, and although Andrea Pirlo got one back a minute later, Louis van Gaal’s men kept focus and scored two late goals to avoid a Milan comeback.
Sene netted for 3-1 in the 89th minute, and Müller scored his second goal a minute later.
Bayern face Manchester United in the Audi Cup final on Thursday.
