(GSM) – Bayern München director of sport Christian Nerlinger has announced that his club will look to add more ‘big names’ to their squad this summer regardless of whether Franck Ribery leaves the Allianz Arena.
“It is always our intention to bring big names to Munich,” Nerlinger told the Tz newspaper.
Following Bayern’s Bundesliga and European success Nerlinger continued: “We always have our eyes open and we know that we have a good chance at the moment… We want quality not quantity, class not mass.
“In Franck (Ribery) and (Arjen Robben), we have two extra class players and it is important to get somebody who can decide a game out of nothing.” But he warned Galactico-type players “are not found hanging around on every corner.”
