According to a report in the British tabloid The Daily Mail, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is the preferred choice of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich as the successor to current head coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

It is thought that Klinsmann’s future with Die Roten is extremely insecure following successive heavy defeats to Wolfsburg, 5-1, domestically and at Barcelona, 4-0, in the Champions League.

Der FCB were also expected to win the German title with some comfort this season, but at present they find themselves in fourth position, although only three points behind leaders Wolfsburg, having already lost six games this term.
