Bayern to bid for De Bruyne
German daily newspaper Bild has suggested that Bayern Munich may submit a mega money offer for Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne.
The Bavarians were the first high-profile club to try and recruit the Belgium hotshot this summer, but they then pulled out of the race as the Wolves looked unlikely to sell.
But, with Manchester City now reportedly closing on a deal for De Bruyne, Bayern appear to have rekindled their interest.
The Bavarians are aware that Wolfsburg may be forced to sell in case of a big money offer and they are ready to challenge the Citizens for the midfielder’s signature.
And even though De Bruyne recently suggested he would be staying with Wolfsburg for another season, the summer exit looks increasingly likely.
Following the hard-fought win over Hoffenheim, Bayern Munich play host to Bayer Leverkusen next weekend and they are 2/7 favourites to emerge victorious.
Coentrao nears PSG switch
Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao, according to Le Parisien.
It is no secret that the Saints are in the market for left-sided defender considering that Lucas Digne is set to join AS Roma.
PSG appear to have given up on Layvin Kurzawa after Monaco had rejected their €18 million proposal and have since reignited interest in Fabio Coentrao.
The Portugal international is desperate to leave los Blancos in search of first team football and he could now be reunited with David Luiz and Angel Di Maria at Parc des Princes.
It is believed that the two clubs will reach an agreement on the deal before the transfer window closes in a week’s time.
Fabio Coentrao, 27, has spent last four years at Santiago Bernabeu, but he only started a total of 41 La Liga fixtures during that period.
Man City starlet in high demand
A number of Europe’s top sides are showing interest in Manchester City defender Jason Denayer, reports in Belgium have suggested.
French giants Marseille were recently credited with an interest in the 20-year-old football, who had largely impressed during the loan spell with Glasgow Celtic last season.
However, it appears that the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Lyon and Galatasaray are also hot on the trial of the talented central defender.
Het Laatste Nieuws journalist, Sven Claes informed Telefoot about the current situation regarding Jason Denayer, who could easily be moving clubs in the coming days.
The talented footballer started a total of 29 Scottish Premier League fixtures last term, scoring impressive 5 goals in the process.
Given the fierce competition for places at Etihad, chances are he will either be farmed out on loan or sold in the summer transfer window.
